The Fly Draft 2024 explained

Thursday 1 February marks the beginning of The Fly Draft 2024 when the world will discover the final make-up of the eight teams competing at the fourth edition of the world’s first and best Sixes Lacrosse league.

The Fly Draft 2024 is the second and final stage of the player selection process for this year’s competition and the next stage at which each head coach can select players for their roster.

Following the protected player announcements last year, each team across the men’s and women’s competitions already has four players.

With The Fly 2024 taking place over four game days in May and June, this year will once again see each squad have 15 players with head coaches able to select 12 players for each match day squad; this is to ensure the highest level of competition across the four dates and to give coaches the opportunity to switch things up across game days.

During the draft this year, our head coaches will each make 11 player selections and we’ll be announcing the huge first picks on Thursday 1 February, followed by the second picks on Friday 2 February, and the third picks on Saturday 3 February.

Following the announcement of the first three picks for each team, the remaining drafted players will be announced and the full draft video released on our YouTube channel HERE.
