The Fly heads to Blackheath Rugby Club for 2025
We are thrilled to have now confirmed that The Fly Sixes Lacrosse will head to Blackheath Rugby Club for the first time this year to kick-off the 2025 competition!
The venue, known as Well Hall, in Greenwich, South East London is the world's oldest open rugby club in continuous existence and hosts third tier rugby with a venue capacity of 1650 including 550 seats.
All eight squads will debut for the first weekend of The Fly 2025 on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 May at Blackheath, before moving north for the return to Manchester Regional Arena, this time for the final weekend of action on Saturday 31 May and Sunday 1 June.
The best Sixes players in the UK will all be on display in London this summer delivering high-level, high-intensity, and high-drama lacrosse for everyone to experience.
We hope you’re ready to see Swift slicing through the opposition, Hustle breaking down barriers, Forge bringing the firepower, and Rise on the charge as the teams renew rivalries at a brand new venue.
The 2024 competition broke attendance records for The Fly and were looking to smash those numbers once again this year as the excitement for the Olympic format and our future Olympians continues to grow.
Blackheath Rugby Club holds a central location, just 5 minutes from Eltham railway station as well as featuring ample on-site parking.
Venue address: Blackheath Rugby, Kidbrooke Lane, Eltham, SE9 6TE.
