The Fly opening day results

We were all treated to a sensational day’s action on the opening day of The Fly at Lilleshall National Sports Centre with top quality play on display throughout.

Team Swift came out with a 100% record in both the men’s and women’s competitions and have now positioned themselves as the team to beat.

But it’s all to play for at Finals weekend and any side can still be crowned champions of the inaugural year of The Fly across 7-8 August.

Each team were allocated points based on their results to determine their placings for the play-ins and knockout stages at The Fly finals weekend. Points were allocated under the following system:

Win in Overtime - 2
Loss in Overtime - 1
Loss - 0
